Overview ... The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all company, regulatory, and customer requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of the product. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: In-process parts inspection during the manufacturing cycle Read product drawing to determine product conformance Final product and outgoing material inspection. Continuous Improvement support Understand and apply ISO principles Reduce COPQ by participating in process improvement initiatives The Opportunity ... Primary inspection focus will be to monitor, measure, evaluate, and report the output from multiple clip presses, and ensure proper packing of finished product. Work in a team environment with daily shift change meetings to relay QC concerns or other pertinent information to the next shift. Inspect incoming, In-process, and outgoing material to meet Fit, Form and Function per all applicable requirements. Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems requirements, as well as ISO 14001 requirements. Ensures established ISO QSP’s and Work Instructions are followed and participates in ISO audits as requested. Read and understand drawings and all applicable technical standards. Read and understand process specifications, procedures, and work instructions used in product manufacturing. Complete data entry tasks and communicate with team members about metrics. Assist with the management of tool calibration. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) inspections and accompanying documentation as required Other duties as assigned. Why work at JBT ... Required HS Diploma. Associate Degree in a technical field is preferred. Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility. Previous experience working as part of a Quality Team is preferred. Must possess the ability to work effectively with others, in an independent production team environment. Good oral and written communication skills. Able to competently utilize Microsoft Office applications to analyze data trends and generate reports.
