Job Description

The AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation necessary for our treatments to positively impact patients’ lives. In the role of Business Systems Lead you’ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will independently perform and lead analyses and implementation of RPA and process automation technology solutions to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible products in a timely manner. Demonstrate technical precision and strong analytical skills. Possess good understanding non-conventional and conventional AI software development and technology infrastructure (including servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments), and general understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and leading development of Robotic Process Automations utilizing Blue Prism and more advanced coding practices.

  • Analyzing and evaluating automations to include troubleshooting and defect management.

  • Demonstrating skills in multiple techniques and appropriately modifying solutions to suit the changing needs of our business.

  • Creating and providing development timelines for automation solutions.

  • Producing and maintaining required technical documentation associated with work product.

  • Learning and understanding new methods and technologies.

  • Understanding and adhering to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security and the software development lifecycle.

  • Working collaboratively and effectively with both technical and business team members.

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related RPA development experience or Master's Degree.

  • Blue Prism Certification.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be deliverables focused and detail oriented.

  • Must exhibit exceptional teamwork skills.

  • Must have a strong customer focus.
