Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-3:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $25.50 an hour

The Process Specialist will develop the operating teams' technical understanding and mastery of process control. You will be the Centerline owner for the team and will participate in continuous improvement projects to improve line performance, such as creating training, and eliminating losses. This is often an entry-level management position or an experienced hourly lead position. Internally, this position is referred to as a Process Lead. You would report to the Team Leader Production. This position is onsite at the North Mankato, MN facility.

Essential duties (not all inclusive):

• Participate in plant wide continuous improvement projects.

• Oversee the Centerline Management system for the department

• Lead process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards

• Develop control strategies to help operators to respond to out-of-control situations

• Manage integrity of Line Event Data Systems (LEDS)

• Analyze line data to identify and eliminate losses

• Lead the Changeover system for the department

• Lead root-cause efforts on main chronic losses for the line/dept.

Position Qualifications:

• Demonstrate Excellent Safety Performance. Accident/Incident-free behavior.

• Competent with computer use—Excel (can perform complex functions) , Word, SAP

• Previous leadership experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor's degree
