IQVIA Talent Acquistion Specialist in North Sydney, Australia

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract basis and is specifically within our casual Nurse Recruitment team. The role requires the applicants to have full Australian working rights.

Do you have curiosity to look at a market and identify professional talent and engage that talent in career discussions? We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help represent IQVIA as an employer of choice.

This is role is part of a small team and reports to our Director in the APAC region. This role must be based in Sydney with a minimum of 2 days required in our North Sydney office. You will utilise your sourcing skills to scout, source and screen suitable candidates to meet the recruiting demand. You will develop a deep understanding of talent pools, and the talent's career aspirations to ensure best fit for IQVIA needs. As well as;

  • Build relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their needs and help deliver sourcing strategies that meet the hiring requirements

  • Source candidates through various channels, including but not limited to internet searches, job boards, employee referrals, cold calling, alumni, social media channels, and other internal databases

  • Attend initial briefing meetings, if required, with Hiring Managers to understand the business needs

  • Map talent in a competitive and lateral industry landscape, focusing on talent pool concepts, understanding their reporting lines, job scope, preferences, and availability for their next career challenge

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of prior recruitment experience either from an internal or an RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) environment would be advantageous

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, HRIS applications and Workday

  • Ability to source, map, and communicate with talent at all levels within competitive and consulting organisations

  • A very high degree of discretion and confidentiality is required.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients

  • Open to a challenge in a genuinely fast-paced environment.
