Job Description

Do you want to be a part of the Global Procurement team whose mission is to ensure Global Supply Base Operational Excellence while complying to LEGO requirements.

The team is looking for its newest member!

Core responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and driving efficient regional category strategy

  • End to end procurement processes include early engagement on Project/RFQ analysis; pricing/terms negotiation; supplier selection; order processing; contracting; supplier relationship management; may also include limited strategic sourcing

  • Monitoring the operational efficiency and product quality

  • Supervising supplier performance

  • Drive regional stakeholder management and KPI Execution

  • SRM for existing suppliers

  • Builds and negotiates contracts under designated categories of responsibility following the LEGO Group frame to support mitigating risk, following the different policies, and generating benefit for the company

  • Leads commercial aspects with suppliers in a high level of spend, risk or criticality for the operation, following the global procurement policies and processes oriented to provide value within category global plan set

  • Manage the Budget for the assigned Supplier (including Cost management, Negotiations and PO Creation)

This role focuses on managing the EMS who produces the Tech Component Elements (products) of LEGO. This includes Supplier Management, Managing the Product & Manufacturing Process at the EMS supplier jointly with LEGO Stakeholders and Implementation of Strategic Initiatives with the EMS !

Do you have what it takes?

  • Preferable degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or any related faculties

  • Proven experience in procurement in an EMS Environment

  • Strategic procurement experience working in electronics industry

  • Demonstrated skills within stakeholder management, communication, networking across different countries and cultures

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • ERP knowledge (nice to have SAP or Oracle)

  • Strategic & analytical approach

  • Result oriented and able to collaborate and connect the dots across the organization

  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian both written and spoken

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel to meet projects requirements and external partners
