Job Description

Job Summary

As a part of the North American (NAM) Projects team the PO Central/Sales Operations Support Manager is responsible for working with the Commercial, Execution and Finance teams to ensure customer orders are received and processed seamlessly while all checks are completed. The successful candidate will support sales and execution with other administrative tasks and work on our 3rd party representative commissions to ensure our representatives are paid in a timely fashion. In addition to execution of

these tasks, the candidate will manage one direct report responsible for parallel tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Execution and Finance teams on the administration of the order acceptance/order set-up process.

  • Execute customer account set up/maintenance processes when required.

  • Manage the process for setting and updating 3rd party sales representatives, process commissions due to our 3rd party representatives

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required (ie. indirect purchasing processes)

  • Drive continuous improvement of the order acceptance process by assessing cycle time performance data and collaborating with responsible functions on resolution.

  • Manage PO Central Lead on complementary tasks to support Projects, Products and Services.

  • Update training materials and lead on implemented improvements with a focus on development & maintenance of relevant procedures and controls.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High level of attention to detail, process and organization

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Salesforce

  • Ability to understand financial calculations and knowledge of Google Sheets & Excel

  • Proven data analysis and organizational skills

  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated, results-focused with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment. Fluent in English.

  • Able to resolve conflicts and move teams forward while developing trusted relationships

  • Able to work independently and manage staff

  • Able to assemble concise and effective training presentations and train peers.

Education & Experience

Assets:

  • College or Bachelor's degree in business management or related field

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales operations or finance in the water treatment industry.

  • Knowledge of and experience with quality improvement methodologies

  • Experience with Google Workspace / Microsoft
