Objectives:

Bausch & Lomb Surgical makes equipment, that doctors use to perform cataract and other eye surgeries, and our team provides sterile custom packs for each surgery. Offering you a chance to be involved in making a difference in people’s lives by improving their vison and daily way of life.

Responsibilities:

• Contract negotiations, setting up new parts and transferring to production after part approval.

• Responsible for following B&L procurement procedures and completing contractual forms.

• Collaborate with all functions R&D, Quality, and Program to ensure high level of performance and strong customer service.

• Attend project meetings.

• Responsible for delivering established cost savings targets through competitive bidding process, and effective negotiation of supplier service agreements. Manage all supply base costs and ensure contract compliance.

• Complete risk mitigation projects for assigned product categories.

• Responsible for performing all aspects of sourcing, procurement activities in support of major initiatives including stakeholder requirement analysis, identification of bidders list, RFP/RFQ development, conducting competitive bid events, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, risk mitigation, supply continuity, and supplier performance.

• Processes Contract Approval Forms (CAFs) for Supply Agreements.

Requirements:

• MRP experience, vendor relationships, and critical thinking abilities.

• Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.

• Good verbal communication skills.

• Negotiating skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, & Word.

• Math and analytical skills to adequately analyze and interpret supplier quotes, contracts, and other supplier-related issues.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AS400 experience.

• Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.).
