JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Systems Analyst (Developer) will enhance business capability through development of information systems while providing day-to-day system support. This role will work with other team members (IT, Project Managers, and Business Representatives) to effectively build new applications and solutions. Ensure functional designs are stable, reliable, and scalable information technology (IT) systems. The role is also responsible for verifying production applications are operating at optimal levels through quality application delivery, and quickly and accurately correcting production issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in designing, running, and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.

  • Assist in translating functional specs into technical specs.

  • Assist with identifying and troubleshooting technical issues.

  • Performtestingandimplementation of projects withdirection and assistance.

  • Providetechnical support, advise help desk on issue statuses and resolutions. Maintain incidents and problems withinServiceNow,and communicate status of workand escalate issues to team members in a timely fashion.

  • Proposesoftware designs based on software design principals and functional specifications.

  • Complete documentation, perform testing and the implementation of projects under the directionand assistance from others.

  • Learn,understand and practice Oshkosh project methodology.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, orequivalent.

  • One (1) or moreyears of experience inSoftware Development, Information Technology, or in a related area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity withformal project methodology or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) terminology.

  • Experience in Information Technology implementations or change efforts.

  • Understanding of computer hardware and various operating systems.

  • Computer analytic and problemsolving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities.

  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word,Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
