Job Summary

Responsible for making complex repairs on coaches, rebuilding components, training other employees in new skills, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship program as a Transit Bus Repairer (Mechanics CURRENTLY classified as Transit Bus Journeyists and Master Journeyists are eligible).

``` - Graduation from high school or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

  • Successfully pass standardized tests administered by the Authority.

  • Successfully pass a mechanical and electrical aptitude tests administered by the Authority.

  • Must have own tools.

  • Able to pass DOT physical.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Utah Class B CDL and passenger endorsement.

  • Have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

  • Have no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.

  • Must be or be able to become Fork Lift Certified.

  • This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

Shift: 3:30 pm - 2:00 am with Thursday/Friday/Saturday off* * Shift & Days Off Subject to Change

Pay Rate: $34.70 per hour
