Job Description
Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing clients and initiating collections. Protect the budget by being an integral part of the purchasing process, including deciphering and understanding vendor contracts. Support the accounting department by reconciling monthly general ledger accounts and leveraging technology when problem-solving.
Responsibilities include:
Updating monthly tenant gross receipts reports, airline landing and apron fee reports, and airline traffic statistics reports.
Accurately invoicing clients for monthly activity and reconciling to the general ledger.
Maintaining and analyzing accounts receivable, including assessing finance charges and collections.
Completing various month-end reconciliations and journal entries.
Preparing year-end accrual journal entries, creating year-end audit work papers, and assisting with the annual audit.
Assisting with monthly financial statement preparation (with oversight from the Properties & Procurement Manager).
Coordinating the procurement process by understanding market conditions that may impact purchasing decisions, negotiating best pricing for products and services, reviewing departmental requisitions, assigning purchase order numbers, and ensuring product delivery schedules are met.
Preparing new vendor packets, including Form 13 and W-9 distribution, and verifying 1099 status.
Setting up new vendor accounts in software and maintaining the vendor master file.

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.
6 Month Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire based on experience.
Reporting to the accounting manager in a team of 4.
Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with most team members working from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
