CHI Health Immanuel located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street offers a full-service hospital cancer center rehabilitation center specialty spine hospital and more. As a Department Support Assistant, you’ll do a little bit of everything, assisting in the office side of the healthcare field. You’ll support a dedicated facility or department, helping patients by directing them to the proper location of facilitating their communication. A great attitude and can-do spirit is a must for this high visibility position!
Some of what you’ll do:
Perform all receptionist activities, including directing guests and employees appropriately
Operate a multi-line switchboard and connect calls, as well as schedule conference rooms and coordinate A/V systems
Manage access privileges by maintaining sign on sheets and visitor badges, as well as following facility security procedures
Distribute communication and compile/deliver standard business reports or correspondence
Use computer skills to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Prioritze customer service first, and organize other work around interactions
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED is required.
1 year lab experience preferred.
