Job Summary:

  • Diagnose and Repair Equipment:Accurately diagnose issues and repair a variety of equipment to support both rental and service operations.
    • This can included but is not limited to: heavy construction equipment, trucks, generators, aerial equipment, and other related heavy equipment and components.
    • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment daily
    • Test products after service/repair completion to ensure products are functioning properly
  • Collaborate and Communicate:Work closely with fellow technicians, support team, and management to ensure a streamlined workflow and timely completion of tasks. Share knowledge and participate actively in team meetings.
  • Document:Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
  • Training and Development:Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest technological advancements in agricultural machinery.
  • Other duties as assigned by store manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of Technician/Mechanic experience (diesel experience preferred - or a knowledge of heavy construction equipment, hydraulic systems, etc.)
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • This position requires but is not limited to lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, listening and speaking with internal and external clients.
