General Motors Connected Services Analyst in Opfikon, Switzerland

Job Description

As the Connected Services Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Connected Services Team in planning, orchestrating, and executing strategic, tactical, and operational initiatives. Your focus will be on business and operations planning and execution, ensuring alignment across regional and global cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, optimizing resources, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue targets.

In this role, your primary focus is executing successful connected services go-to-market initiatives, ensuring timely launches while maintaining quality. Post-launch, you'll orchestrate operations to seamlessly deliver value to customers, ensuring optimal business outcomes.

  • Strategic Planning Support : Assist in the development of strategic plans for connected services initiatives, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and identification of growthopportunities.

  • Cross-functional Alignment : Facilitate alignment and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including CX strategy, vehicle product & planning, marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure coherence and synergy in executing business objectives.

  • Project Planning and Management : Collaborate closely with global software & services PMO and global digital product managementto execute project planning activities, including project scopes, objectives, timelines, and schedules to ensure successful execution and delivery of initiatives.

  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and challenges associated with connected services initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

  • Resource Optimization : Work closely with stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and optimizeresource allocations to maximize the impact of connected services initiatives.

  • Execution Oversight : Monitor the execution of business plans and initiatives, tracking progress against milestones and KPIs, and providing regular updates to stakeholders on performance and outcomes.

  • Performance Analysis : Analyze performance data and metrics related to connected services initiatives, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement to drive continuous optimization and enhancement.

  • Operational Efficiency : Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency in delivering connected services, driving cost savings, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Additional Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

  • Knowledge of business planning methodologies, project management principles, and performance measurement frameworks

  • Experience with connected services and/or subscription-as-a-service, preferably within (but not limited to) the automotive or technology industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to support decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
