Aston Carter Bookkeeper And Administrative Assistant in Orlando, Florida

Office Assistant | Orlando, FL

A company in Sand Lake is seeking an office assistant to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for general bookkeeping, human resources, and administrative functions.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Creating Purchase Orders and 3-way matching

  • Setting up new vendor accounts in system

  • Month-end prep (will work with accounting company implementing QuickBooks)

  • Assist Tax Accountant with tax prep at end of month/year (will work with tax accountant)

  • Create and maintain process to track books

  • Assist with creating a tracker for inventory

  • Create process for database with parts, and receiving of materials

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating process for tracking vacations, time keeping

  • Assist with creating Job Descriptions, and helping with screening of candidates

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, HR, or Accounting or similar 4-yr degree

  • Minimum 7+ years experience

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Adobe Acrobat skills

  • Scheduling and tracking skills
