Actalent Chemist II in Orlando, Florida

Job Title: Chemist IIJob Description

As a Chemist II, you will collect and analyze chemistry samples following EPA standard methods. You will create reagents and standards for all samples and maintain a working knowledge of all hazardous chemical risks. You must follow safety protocols with all activities in the laboratory and stay updated on current policies and regulations. Additionally, you will assure compliance with all applicable NELAC/District Environmental Sciences Laboratory Quality Assurance requirements. You will also review and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System, follow standard procedures to accurately calibrate laboratory instrumentation and equipment, and monitor equipment, reporting any problems.
