The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direction and with regular collaboration with the Director of Education & Training the Education & Training Manager is responsible for assisting in the organization, administration, planning, and execution of learning laboratories for clinical learners participating in education programs. The manager will assist in laboratory instruction and direction, the guidance of clinical preceptors, and orienting new staff members and guest instructors. The Manager provides guidance, leadership, and developmental support to the clinical teams, faculty, and instructors. The manager will assist in the oversight of the curriculum development, which includes the design and implementation of the clinical program and the assessment, and improvement of the clinical programs to include evaluation of student performance, preceptor performance, education modalities, clinical site quality, and clinical curriculum.

Provides instruction for multidisciplinary laboratories.
Assists in writing grant and program funding proposals.
Coordinates the training and orientation of internal and external faculty, preceptors, and instructors.
Supports curriculum development, which includes the design and implementation of the educational content
Supports course design by creating effective and engaging learning environments informed by desired learning outcomes
Help incorporate innovative methods of content delivery in the online, hybrid, web-enhanced, and face-to-face environments using appropriate technologies
Assist with the selection of instructional strategies, articulation of measurable course and lesson learning outcomes
Collaborates with the Director of Education on ongoing assessment of student performance and Student Learning Outcomes
Participates in activities that promote the stature of the academic programs.
Provides input to assist with accreditation activities, as well as ongoing program evaluation and mission statement review
Supports educational programs, surgical skills laboratories, simulation laboratories, and advanced healthcare technology instructional courses.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, health administration, health sciences or related field.
Minimum of one (1) year of full time or two (2) years of part time experience in the last five (5) years in Education/proctoring position
Experience working in healthcare academia.
Experience in coaching and teaching.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician)
SRT (Certified Surgical Research Specialist
