PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Remote Software Engineer. Job ID#207725
Job Description:
Applicant will be responsible for software infrastructure implementation and support for an integrated suite of COTS and custom software products. They will work with the lead software architect on infrastructure design, analysis, scaling, implementation, testing, and support. They will also work with the software development teams on performance tuning and other optimizations.
• 5+ years of OpenShift: Deployment, scaling, and management at the application level
• 5+ years of Docker: Image management, container troubleshooting
• 5+ years of Kubernetes: General architecture, networking, pod management
• 5+ years of GitLab CI/CD: Pipeline creation and deployment automation
• 5+ years of Database: MSSQL, performance tuning
• 5+ years of general cloud experience
• 3+ years of Persistent Storage: PV/PVC management and file sync scripting
• 3+ years of Helm: Chart development and deployment
• 3+ years of Application Performance Monitoring: Dynatrace, debugging, scaling strategies, load testing, capacity planning
• 3+ years of Python
• 3+ years of Bash
