Summary

This position is a key member of the Talent Management team and will partner with the broader HR team and business stakeholders to design and deliver internally focused integrated talent strategies and programs aligned to our organization’s objectives. This is not a Talent Acquisition role, instead this Talent Management role will focus on our active internal population by developing talent management strategies for succession planning, leadership development planning and performance assessments. This role will drive innovation, achieve results, and positively impact the organization through the core responsibilities described below.

This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule working in-office/show site 2-3 days per week and support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and execute integrated internally focused talent strategies and solutions aligned to our business objectives, including leadership and executive development and coaching, individual development planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development

• Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices throughout all program design

• Execute Freeman’s performance cycle, including mid-year and year-end performance assessment, performance and development goal setting, and equipping leaders to engage in meaningful, on-going performance conversations

• Partner with Freeman HR business partners and business leaders on alignment, operationalization, and cascading of talent initiatives across the organization

• Provide high-quality internal consulting to HR and business leaders to identify gaps and opportunities for talent development, and design and execute programs/experiences to build critical capabilities and foster a learning mindset across the organization

• Partner with the People Analytics team to measure the health of the talent pipeline through targeted analytics, and provide insights and recommended actions

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendor partners in support of best-in-class, cost-effective, enterprise-wide development solutions

• Support the Talent Management team in providing thought leadership and best practices in the talent space through ongoing self-development, external engagements, and best practices research and exposure

• Perform other duties as assigned, including participation in HR projects and initiatives

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree with 5 or more years of related experience in talent management, organizational development, and/or learning & development required

• Experience working with leaders and executives in full-cycle talent management processes, including culture, inclusion, performance management, talent review, development planning, and succession planning

• Experience consulting with HR business partners and business leaders on talent strategy and talent development gaps and opportunities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Freeman leadership (from frontline employees to senior executives), as well as facilitate discussions on various leadership-related subject matter

• Experience leveraging technology to deploy high-impact development experiences

• Effective project management skills, including ability to manage details and work under established deadlines

• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

• Instructional design experience and experience with design thinking methodology a plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities and maintain flexibility

• Ability to take a concept from idea to completion
