Description
We are looking for a Recruiter to attract candidates to interview and hire great employees. A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talented pipeline.
Essential Responsibilities and Desired Outcomes
Source and recruit for exempt, non-exempt, interns, and volunteer personnel as directed, by using databases, social media, etc.
Uphold compliance and reporting requirements with Wisconsin and Federal employment and caregiver laws and regulations including those related to Equal Employment Opportunity(EEO), Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Development of Labor, Worker’s Compensation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) and other state and federal laws.
Maintain accuracy in HRIS and personnel records and compile daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting • Help interpret and monitor implementation of company personnel policies and administrative practices and procedures
Track and ensure employees compliance with the Health Screen and TB administration
Coordinate and develop college and community recruitment initiatives
Maintain updates of company openings and job postings
Attend recruitment events during and after work hours
Be a part of an on-call rotation during the weekend
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
Achieve department goals and objectives that are aligned with the strategic goals of the company
Maintain strict confidentiality standards in all functions of the job
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision making skills
