Garry Peterson State Farm Office Assistant in Ottawa, Ohio

Job Purpose: Immediate opening for a qualified employee to work in a dynamic, fast-paced professional office environment. This position involves marketing and servicing insurance and financial services products. Duties: Serve as receptionist, handle inbound and outbound calls as needed. Assist with the preparation of insurance quotes. Assist with the marketing of products of a well-recognized insurance company. Assist with the servicing needs of current customers. Complete company and office-provided training and education. Assist the agent/owner in meeting office goals. Work with the Social Media Apps for the office. Skills/Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft applications and computer skills. Proficiency in social media. Ability to learn quickly and to take direction. Some post-high school education; associates degree or beyond is required. Other details: Starting salary/wage commensurate on education level and work experience. Paid holidays and vacations; other benefits negotiable. Prefer to interview residents of Putnam County, Ohio, but will consider residents of adjoining counties.
