What s a typical day as a Machine Operator?: Record materials and machine operation functions/readings and finished goods. Adjust machine settings to manufacture products to quality specifications. Identify when machine functions are not operating properly. Assemble and disassemble machine parts. Clean machines and support equipment. Weigh, read, identify and load raw materials. Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble parts. Operate a forklift to transfer finished product (training provided) Working in heights to complete wet cleans of specified area(s).? May include operation of a boom or scissor lift. Cleaning of work areas. Removal of garbage, cardboard, and other refuse created during production. Operating the cardboard/plastic baler for recycling. Cleaning and organizing of production supply storage areas. Stocking production supplies. Transferring finished product within the production and WIP areas. Stocking pallets, packaging supplies, and other consumable production supplies to their proper storage areas.
