Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is looking for a full-time Site Security Advisor (SSA) for our client in Owensboro, KY. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8 hours each day. The SSA will report to the Client’s Senior Security Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Security Risk Assessments and Assurance checks in line with company procedures.

  • Daily security risk management for a manufacturing facility and three satellite locations.

  • Maintain conformance with and recording of contract KPI of contracted security guarding company.

  • Ensure that the contracted guard shifts conduct their duty in conformance with guard orders.

  • Report, manage and investigate security incidents.

  • Implement SOPs to include Actions-On procedures.

  • Resolve access control issues and policies and ensure security systems and equipment are functioning correctly.

  • Maintain and operate access control badging system.

  • Complete required reports and returns.

  • Conduct security awareness onboarding training for new joiners and deliver other training to staff as directed by the senior security lead.

  • Conduct, plan, and record lessons identified from security exercises

  • Conduct routine patrols through the four locations to verify the integrity of security systems in place.

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure security team is aware of upcoming relevant business activity.

  • Work in collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver security upgrade projects.

  • Report welfare and Human Rights issues with the client’s security team as required.

  • Conduct other security related tasks as might be required to maintain a safe and secure site, as directed by the client’s security senior lead.

The Site Security Advisor is expected to have training and experience in the following areas:

  • Use of Force Continuum

  • Search and access control procedures

  • First aid training

  • OSHA

  • Patrol procedures

  • Incident response

  • Communications

  • Conduct of security risk assessments

  • Conduct of gap assessments and assurance reviews

Compensation & Benefits:

$93,000 annually
