Robert Half Controller in Oxford, Mississippi

Description

We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Oxford, Mississippi. This role is integral to our financial management and will involve overseeing payroll, construction development and project supervision, and handling software such as ProCore and Quickbooks Desktop for a development company with a budget of $20MM.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Supervise payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely compensation to employees

• Utilize ProCore and Quickbooks Desktop software for financial management and reporting

• Contribute to the budget processes, including planning, tracking, and auditing

• Supervise construction projects, ensuring they adhere to the budget and schedule

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including DCAA requirements

• Implement and manage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient business processes

• Regularly conduct financial audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and transactions

• Manage the accounting software systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet the company's needs

• Use ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management and other financial services.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with DCAA

• Skilled in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
