Our client, in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be supporting 5 client sites, 4 of which are within walking distance of each other. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, sound reasoning ability, and a safety-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Pay Range: $26.20/hour

What’s the Job?

• Preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.

• Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.

• Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs.

What’s Needed?

• 4+ years of related facility experience

• Certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license
