Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Manager HR Business Partner in Paris, France

Regeneron is broadening its global presence across Europe, and we are seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to oversee human resources activities for our teams in France, Switzerland, and Belgium. As our organization evolves, the geographical scope of responsibilities may shift to align with business needs.

The selected candidate will be an integral part of a growing HR department that is passionate about contributing to our long-term objectives. These include making a significant impact on global workforce strategies, talent management, and improving the employee experience at Regeneron.

This position is within the Europe & Canada HR Team and collaborates extensively with the wider International HR Team. The role also involves a close partnership with HR Centres of Excellence.

A typical day might look like:

Collaborating closely with leaders and HR colleagues to pinpoint and strategize crucial HR tasks for various business functions. This includes addressing any people-related challenges by advising with internal HR specialists on matters such as employee relations, compensation, leadership development, benefits, succession planning, and identifying employee development opportunities.

Facilitating an employee experience that goes hand in hand with our cultural values and beliefs and therefore encouraging an organizational culture that drives engagement.

Advising in partnership with Regeneron’s Law Department on labor law (individual and collective), striving to identify and constructively resolve employee and labor relations matters.

Demonstrating experience and expertise in dealing with collective bargaining agreements and engaging with employees to comprehend their motivations, ensuring Regeneron provides a premier employee experience.

Providing Employee Relations support across functional areas to address and resolve people-related conflicts, leading ER investigations, and driving follow-up actions as necessary.

Owning the engagement and partnership process with employee representatives (e.g., works councils), encouraging a positive and productive relationship that effectively advances business interests while accommodating employee needs, developing and crafting modern company regulations.

Supporting strategic HR initiatives in collaboration with internal expert groups, stewarding organizational change projects, and managing the associated people implications

Support the development of people leaders’ skill set through coaching and advise; the client group spans different levels in the organization including senior leaders.

This role is pivotal in maintaining a high-performance culture that aligns with the Regeneron Way, ensuring that our workforce is supported, engaged, and motivated to contribute to our success.

This role might be for you if you have;

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law, Business Administration or another HR related discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years’ HR experience, with experience working within the French pharma/biopharma/biotech industry in an HR or management role.

  • Experience working in a Global commercial organization is required.

  • Expertise in handling employee representation matters (leading and negotiating with works councils).

  • Expertise in talent acquisition and talent development within a technically driven organization.

  • Experience in coaching and advising leaders and leadership teams

  • A strong preference and ability for quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and are comfortable with a variety of technology, systems and data.

  • Significant understanding of HR legal & compliance requirements

  • Proficiency in French and English, while other languages will be a plus
