Pioneer Masonry Supply Sales Associate in Parkersburg, West Virginia

Qualifications/Skills: Customer service and people skills, critical thinking, ability to work well with others, the ability to sell products and services, patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, punctual and reliable, computer data entry and basic math skills (required), excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, be thorough and pay attention to detail, and the ability to use your initiative.

Job Duties: Responsible for supporting sales staff by providing administrative, clerical and customer support. Answers phone calls, emails and other forms of correspondence to assist customers. Follows up with customers, completes orders, and processes sales leads. Promotes and answers questions about available products related to the building industry, specifically masonry supplies. Unpacks and sorts new stock deliveries. Processes cash and credit card payments and balances daily bank deposits. Handles customer returns. Occasionally, loads customers and operate equipment such as bobcat and forklift as well as make local deliveries in a dump truck. Opportunity for advancement after training period.

 

Standard work hours, Mon-Fri 7:15AM - 4:30PM. Some Saturdays 7:45AM-12:00PM from April-November. Paid overtime.

High school diploma, required. College degree in business management or sales, preferred. 0-3 years' experience in sales (this is an entry level position). Knowledge of building and masonry materials, preferred. Must have a driver license and be able to pass a DOT physical.
