Are you looking for a career move in Accounting? Randstad is looking for a Jr. Accountant in the Fayette County area to start immediately.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a well established organization. They offer a full benefits package, 401K and a family envonment.

You must have either experience or a degree in Accounting/Finance. A combination of both is preferable. Looking for local candidates only.

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable for B2B customers

• Matching payments with the invoice and corresponding purchase order

• Payment of online orders through company software

• Reconciliations

• Accounts Receivable

• Manage the Aging Report, follow up on customer payment status

• Cash balance overview

• Asset transaction management

• Accruals/monthly closing postings

• General ledger account analysis and maintenance

• Manage central Finance mailbox and incoming direct calls on a daily basis

• Discuss daily execution/ processing with global Finance colleagues

• Daily contact with global colleagues of Project Management, Procurement,Operations

• Maintain current knowledge of new trends and innovations in the field of accounting:evaluate their impact, and suggest policy and procedure improvements.

• Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax

Skills

• Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is required)

• Accounts Receivable (2 years of experience is required)

• Sales & Use Tax (1 year of experience is preferred)

• GAAP (1 year of experience is required)

• Purchase Orders (1 year of experience is required)
