The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teachers for our schools in Peachtree Corners and Norcross. No nights or weekends! We are hiring now, and would love to meet you.

Pay Rate: Starts at $16.94/hour with 40-hour workweek.

Higher pay rates available based on education, experience, and certifications.

• Sunshine House of Peachtree Corners at Spalding Dr. (near ATL Tech Pkwy)

• Sunshine House of Peachtree Corners at Crooked Creek Road (across from Peachtree Elementary)

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

• Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.

• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

• Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.

• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.

• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Requirements

• Minimum of a CDA/TCC required.

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Six months of experience as a teacher in licensed childcare preferred.
