In this position, you will support the Go-to-Market team in the Resource Industries segment. This role will provide support for complex, broad traditional and non-traditional financial analysis, and other projects and/or initiatives to the leadership team (which could include CFO’s, General managers and/or Vice Presidents). This position will interface with finance, commercial and product groups inside and outside the division to assist with the achievement of goals, provide a strategic focus and support initiatives on financial, product and/or other issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Monthly financial reporting, forecasting and decision support

  • Analyze and explain regional financial performance

  • Support provision of meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations to leadership

  • Process improvement, automation and Digital Finance initiatives

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, or support business unit or corporate initiatives

What You Have:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Economics, Finance, Business, or Accounting, and 2+ years of experience

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

  • Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.

  • Financial Analysis : Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Digital Finance experience, including visualization tools

  • Process improvement and analytical mindset

  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership

  • Ability to take an Enterprise point of view and lead with our Values in Action

Additional Info :

  • This position can be located in Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL

  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

  • Sponsorship is not available

  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
