Tyson Foods A-shift Freezer warehouse in Perry, Iowa

This team member will be responsible for various task that include the following: Must be willing to learn how to operate the inverter, operate the stretch wrapper, drive a pallet jack to, from and in the rack system to move loaded pallets from one place to another, load trucks using a slip sheeter, and completing the appropriate tasks for shipping and receiving, and palletizing boxes. Other tasks include but not limited to box strapping, restacking boxes, scanning, and housekeeping tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping the freezer, etc. Temperature ranges from 40 degrees and as low as -15 degrees. Must be willing to continuously bend, push, and pull to lift boxes or pallets that are below waist level. The weights of the boxes vary from 10 lbs. to 95 lbs. The team member must be willing to stand the entire duration of the shift. The member must be willing to learn and operate a power industrial truck (forklift). Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends. Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute and document work completed on scheduling sheet. Must be willing to work in cold and damp temperatures
