DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION This role operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in our Philadelphia, PA office.

As a member of the Chubb North America Marketing & Communications team, the AVP, Communications, North America Digital will be responsible for conceiving, developing and executing strategic communication plans to help deliver business objectives.

The ideal candidate is an expert storyteller with exceptional writing, editing and research skills, and is an agile multi-tasker who can work seamlessly across many internal constituents and external parties. They can switch gears quickly to promote Chubb amongst our agents and brokers, prospective embedded insurance partners, and internal communications priorities - with ease and proficiency.

This individual will have a nose for eye-catching content to make sure storytelling is fresh, timely and high impact. The candidate must also understand nuances around writing, editing and digital media - and have hands-on experience with various content formats. Writing and digital/social media samples will be required.

The AVP, Communications, North America Digital will collaborate closely with North America Digital division, marketing and digital product leaders. Ideally, the candidate will come to Chubb with an understanding of technology, digital transformation efforts, and digital business subject matter. This individual will be able to apply data and analytics to help inform storytelling efforts, as well as showcasing impact and results in easy to digest and timely updates to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:  * Oversees the strategy and execution of communication plans and materials for Chubb's North America Digital Division, which comprises the Small Business and Digital Consumer businesses.  * Partners with division and company leaders to understand business strategies and drivers necessary to inform strategic communications plans.  * An expert communicator, responsible for writing, editing and publishing materials in a variety of digital and non-digital formats, including sell sheets, emails, chubb.com, social, video scripts and internal announcements.  * Demonstrates ability to convey (in writing) complex information in clear and understandable formats to a wide range of audiences with differing levels of technical understanding.  * Maintains exceptionally high standards for quality production, ensuring consistency in both messaging and delivery.  * Leverages best practices and opportunities across media channels, including digital media, media relations, social media, and internal communications. Partners with Chubb North America Centers of Excellence teams to execute.  * Develops polished presentations for a variety of audiences, including prospective partner pitch decks; agent/broker presentations and internal strategic plans.  * Provides support for executive communications, including assisting in content development of presentations, key messages, speeches and other materials for NA President, Digital and other division leaders, as needed.  * A hands-on leader willing and able to toggle between high-level strategic projects and detailed, tactical execution  * Highly effective with using data and storytelling to communicate the division's vision and strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS  * Bachelor's

QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree required -- Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing major preferred. * 8+ years of experience in a communications role required. * Insurance or Financial Services industry experience preferred. * Experience working on digital businesses is a plus. * Exceptional writing and editing abilities, including spelling and grammar with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. * Strong project management and organizational s ills with aptitude for managing simultaneous projects in a deadline-driven work environment. * Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills; takes initiative and effectively collaborates with colleagues from adjacent teams as needed to achieve shared goals. * Confident self-starter who is also a collaborative team player. * A proactive and solutions-driven strategic thinker.
