Impact Services Compliance Specialist/Clerk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Compliance Specialist supports program services through compliance management and assisting in the maximization of efficient and effective service delivery to TANF and WIOA customers. Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing time and attendance, quality review and completion of relevant data forms, and communicating compliance related information to Workforce Advisors. Compliance Specialists work closely with Workforce Advisors and the Quality Assurance Team to ensure clear communication between departments for timely follow-up and outreach.  Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for monitoring TANF customers' participation and sharing information with Workforce Advisors.
  • Works closely with the Workforce Advisors to support customers' experience in EARN and determine customers' continued enrollment in the EARN program.
  • Generate and review reports to track customers' time and attendance to determine compliance with program requirements.
  • Compile, review, and submit relevant documentation (timesheets, pay stubs, employment verification forms, incentives, supportive services and other forms) to the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Communicate with Workforce Advisors, Quality Assurance Team members, and other relevant staff on customer program compliance, as needed.
  • Conduct reviews of case notes and share findings with Workforce Advisors.
  • Conduct reviews of Individual Employment Plans and share results with Manager -- Workforce Advisors and Manager - WIOA services.
  • Assist in the distribution of incentives and supportive services to customers and maintain required documentation.
  • Conduct file audits and report findings to applicable staff.  Coordinate audits with File Clerk.
  • Provide administrative support for TANF monthly sampling; validation requests, and/or other reviews as required by Federal, State, and Philadelphia Works, Inc.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Team in monthly reconciliation of customer data to ensure accuracy of all activity, dates, and time & attendance in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).
  • Monitor service activities for WIOA customers and notify Quality Assurance Team when hard exits need to be entered into CWDS.
  • Assist with state and PWI audits of WIOA customer files; ensure that files are complete and in compliance with guidelines and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years related experience required, Associate Degree preferred; minimum of High School Degree or GED.
