Our client, a prominent figure in food, environmental, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic product testing worldwide, seeks to welcome a laboratory supervisor to our expanding team!

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Pay : $70k-$90k

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily departmental operations for smooth sample flow and testing.

• Manages staff scheduling to meet production targets efficiently.

• Provides guidance to staff to resolve operational challenges.

• Identifies and implements process enhancements for client satisfaction and company goals.

• Recommends new equipment acquisitions for improvement.

• Oversees inventory monitoring and ordering for optimal supply levels.

• Acts as a liaison with external vendors for departmental needs.

• Upholds company's business philosophy, leadership principles, and ethics.

• Conducts prompt investigations with Quality Assurance for quality events.

• Collaborates with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints.

• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.

• Demonstrates adherence to the quality management system and accurate recordkeeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Laboratory Science required.

• Knowledge of the methods, materials, and techniques used in laboratory testing

• 3 years of Histocompatibility/Immunogenetics experience

• Knowledge of the use of laboratory apparatus and equipment
