Maximo Technical Consultant - 21503   DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Role: Maximo Technical Consultant

Location: United States (remote with travel)

Role description: . Our Maximo Technical Consultants are responsible for delivering and managing technical artefacts. The role encompasses design, development, testing, and documentation utilising application design, workflow, business logic extension, integration, reports and mobile application development. They work with the latest technologies, systems and methodologies utilising technology to optimise business processes. This role is a customer technical advisory position and will work closely work with our customers.

Role accountabilities: As a Technical Consultant, your responsibilities are varied and challenging, and include leadership and contribution to the following activities. * Project Delivery: To implement Arcadis Gen, IBM and other software analysing requirements, configuring, customisation, deploying and developing solutions involving desktop, mobile, integration and reporting components using Gen's DevOps set of automated tools * Analytical thinking and problem solving capable of challenging * Leading from front: As a Technical Consultant who leads the technical delivery from the front and acts on their own initiative whilst guiding and working alongside functional and architecture colleagues to ensure the optimal technical solution is delivered on time * Solution Specification and Design: To analyse and implement the best user experience for our clients aligning role requirements to functional use of our product(s) UI (desktop and mobile) * Communication and Customers: Develop strong relationships with our customers and stakeholders to help identify and analyse requirements and produce user stories, best way of managing code; deployment and test specifications, test data sets etc * Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other sub domains:

  • Functional and Development team
  • Project Managers
  • Technical Architects
  • Solution Architects
  • Scrum Masters
  • Industry Solution Principals, Professionals and Associates

Qualifications & Experience: Must haves:  * Experience in configuration and customization application as well as integrations  * Experience in analyzing requirements (application/integration/report),design, build and deployment  * Maximo functional working knowledge within the rail, infrastructure, utility, or similar industry  * Maximo data model understanding of key asset management modules  * Understanding of EAM eco systems and experience in integrated with key external systems  * Integration test experience not limited to API and File data loads  * Experience in design, develop and/or re-engineer Maximo application components  * Strong SQL experience  * Experience in Maximo customization framework and enhancing custom logic using java or phyton  * Ability to clearly document technical specifications  * Stakeholder management  * Open to learning and adapting to new technologies  * Maximo architecture, release management, performance management overview  * Recognize data as a key "asset"

Nice-to-haves:  * Design experience with intermediate to complex integrations  * Experience in all types of projects   * Green field implementation, Upgrades and also application support  * Expertise in design and building ICEFW Maximo components Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows requirements  * Expertise in Design, Deployment, and administration of BIRT Reports  * Maximo Integration best practices  * Understanding of common integrations of key systems like SAP, Oracle and Primavera.  * Able to articulate the data integration transformations clearly and provide the solution  * Working experience in Scrum and agile methodology  * Best practices of coding and deployment  * Effort estimation techniques  * Mentor and Coaching experience
