As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates avionics software for aerospace products. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requirements analysis and decomposition

  • Identify and address complex engineering challenges to provide solutions that meet technical standards.

  • Systems integration, validation & verification

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop advanced systems.

  • Customer interaction

  • Project oversight and coordination

  • Budget/schedule responsibility

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

  • 5+ years of experience working with software & hardware development

  • Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

  • C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio
