Across the nation, we are moving the needle through innovation. The Maintenance and Purchasing Support (MAPS) Department has an opening for a Department Specialist II. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Provides support to Division Construction and Maintenance department staff, responding to inquiries in area of responsibility and collecting data/information for department use in special project or reports * Review information/data and make decisions based on well-defined guidelines and instructions * Oversee and manage equipment orders for multiple new-store and remodel projects * Generate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and work-orders * Examine and prioritize documents to determine work sequencing * Collaborate with multiple departments, including but not limited to Construction, Store Design, Store Operations, and Merchandising, expediting equipment and installation according to construction project schedules * Examine contracts to verify compliance and accuracy of contract billing invoice submission * Create and maintain complex reports; compile minor statistical data * Sort, file, and maintain invoices, receipts, contracts and other department special documents * Assemble, review and audit project budget reports, fixture plans, contract billing requests and workorder submissions Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent reading, writing, math and communication skills * Superior customer service focus * Ability to accurately follow verbal and/or written instructions * Proficiency with MS Office applications * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet all deadlines and expectations * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Able to manage multiple demands and respond to urgent requests for information * Honest and trustworthy; exercises a high level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this job classification.
