Volt Import Coordinator / Customs Specialist - 429962_2-7970 in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Customs Specialist you will:

Assist with the Company import compliance program

Manage daily import activities including interactions with customer brokers

Classify product for import, including harmonized tariff schedule codes and Country of Origin

Interface with compliance team who will work with internal teams (Supply Chaim, Program Management) to ensure all work processes are in compliance with US trade regulations

Draft and update import procedures, instructions, forms and templates

Provide guidance on documentation, recordkeeping, classification, origin determination and customs valuation

We are hiring for 1st shift, 6 month temporary role. Position is onsite, but we may consider hybrid and/or remote for the right person but must be local to Cypress, CA in case you need to come in.

The ideal candidate will have:

1 - 2 years of import or customs experience

Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred, not required

Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Pay Rate: 25-30/hr
