Bridgestone Americas, Inc Junior Field Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

Job duties include, but not limited to: Provides engineering support to Sales, Marketing, Production, Dealers, GCR, OEM, Export Sales, and Farmer/Growers Support FSAG sales and marketing: - Customer and dealer training - Technical resource at trade shows and dealer events - Support OE sales managers as technical liaison - Representative in product development and planning groups and technical task groups. - Manage technical and quality requirements in new product development process based on OE or replacement sales requirements Support Product Development - Manage/Coordination product field evaluations and inspection reports. - Evaluate the effects of product improvements. - Provide customer feedback on product performance - Review adjustment data and assist in root cause - Lead product improvement activities in a cross functional team setting BOSS Support - Answer questions from: “ask a Firestone Engineer” phone and email hot-line - Conduct Field Clinics with Regional Sales Manager - Onsite inspections with customer and RSM to resolve customer complaints - Provide leadership and mentoring of Engineer 1 - Manage and facilitate third party testing with a University or Independent research organization to validate product

Minimum educational requirements: Bachelors degree, preferably engineering or similarly technical Preferred: Masters degree/MBA

Sales Effectiveness & Analytics work is focused on developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with sales processes and tools to improve sales force effectiveness including: .Selecting, managing and training on sales related systems and databases (e.g., CRM: customer relationship management systems, ETMS: electronic territory management systems, etc.) .Analyzing sales process reports (e.g., sales activities, opportunity pipeline, average time to close, characteristics of wins vs. losses, etc.) to identify areas for sales process improvement .Assisting sales teams with sales reporting .Assisting sales teams with individual account and sales territory planning
