About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in the Customer Excellence Data and Analytics Team (CEDA) supporting Remediation Analytics for Home Lending. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Perform complex financial and economic analysis

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services working with line of business data, which could include Home Lending Originations or Home Lending Operations analytics experience

  • Experience capturing and documenting business requirements for SQL-based development efforts

  • 3+ years of SQL and/or SAS experience

  • 1+ year of Teradata experience

  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities

  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions

  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes

  • Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations

  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time frames

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
