Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic and innovative team, contributing to projects that require a deep understanding of data engineering concepts and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage data systems, ensuring that they meet business requirements and industry practices.

• Collaborate with data scientists on big data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery architecture.

• Utilize Apache Spark, HDFS, and other big data technologies for fast and efficient data processing.

• Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.

• Utilize scripting languages like SQL and Linux/shell scripting to handle data swiftly.

• Develop and implement data pipelines, ensuring robustness and efficiency.

• Utilize business intelligence tools and data frameworks to ensure that data usage is compliant with the strategic requirements.

• Work with AWS technologies to handle and analyze data.

• Leverage analytics and data handling techniques to develop insights from data.

• Work with other stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Requirements • Proficient in Apache Spark

• Extensive knowledge in Database management

• Experience with EO/IR systems

• Hands-on experience with Erwin Data

• Understanding of HDFS

• Ability to perform AB Testing

• Strong background in Analytics

• Familiarity with AWS Technologies

• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI)
