Description

We are a leading manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ, seeking a Contract-to-Hire Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP software and a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee accounting processes using SAP software

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets

• Perform month-end and year-end close procedures

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management

• Lead and supervise accounting team members

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and variances

• Provide support for financial planning and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP software

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and lead a team

• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management is a plus

This is a contract-to-hire position located in Phoenix, AZ. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in our finance department, overseeing accounting operations and providing valuable insights for decision-making. The role is fully in-office.
