IT Architecture and Infrastructure Services (ITAIS) is looking for a senior director to lead ITAIS Performance Excellence, combining a laser focus on operational excellence with equal emphasis on instantiating and oversight of protocols for critical programmatic areas required to run ITAIS in the most efficient and effective manner. The role will be part of the ITAIS direct staff and leadership team, reporting to the VP and GM of ITAIS. The team will consist of 150 global Intel employees plus contract workers who augment this team's mission. This role requires exceptional communication and consensus-building skills to work across ITAIS, Global IT, and the broader enterprise to deliver operational and performance excellence that creates business value. Some of the key areas include:

The most significant senior director key areas of focus include but are not limited to: 1. Hyper focus on accurately measuring the overall Operational Excellence for all ITAIS services and championing ever increasing levels of performance and resiliency 2. Manage, continually improve service, and drive to world-class levels of performance for the Intel Help Desks and Service Desk 3. Tie into the Global IT Resiliency program and operationalize the Global IT ops team strategies 4. Quickly understand and inculcate best practices from, to, across Intel, as well as the industry 5. Define and maintain all CSAT activities and lead a system that clearly defines and communicates business value for the ITAIS organization 6. Drive new capabilities like AI operations, advanced automation and AI, etc 7. Centrally ensure Program Management and Service Management Excellence best practices are followed (to include ensuring the overall portfolio of ITAIS work is lean and aligned to evolving priorities) and that there is a rich talent pool for project/program managers 8. Maintain service scorecards and benchmarks against industry and operationalize TBM-like model for show-back/charge-back 9. Ensure Risk Management Excellence by developing risk management framework that transparently track risks and proactively provides strategic and tactical risk mitigations including identification of new risks, monitor current activities in flight. Tie into and support the broader and emerging enterprise focus on risk 10. Ensure detailed asset management and integrate as part of broader IT catalog activities

Further, this position will leverage the above areas of focus to Drive and Maintain the Integrated Global Strategy for ITAIS. This includes clearly capturing the current state and defining the future state as related to the needs of ITAIS, Global IT and Intel. Co-create and maintain a strategy with the leadership team that identifies upstream and downstream interdependencies, stakeholder needs, ITAIS and team/employee needs and operationalize the strategy with a hyper-focus on delivering business value to the corporation and through its businesses. Monitor, maintain and iterate this strategic roadmap based on business value outcomes while considering long-term organizational goals and industry forces and direction. This will include integrating the annual OKR process for ITAIS and ensuring the quarterly deliverables reinforce the longer-term strategy. Finally, this role will be a strategically influential Business Partner for Technology Development and Manufacturing IT across Intel. The role will assume the lead IT business partner position for TD, and Manufacturing IT and be an active and valuable member of the broader, and recently formed, Global IT Business Relationship Management structure.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT leadership in architecture, platforms with strong track record of superior results 5+ years relevant domain experience Long Range Planning (LRP), large-scale, cross organizations program management, change management from concept to instantiation, Deep functional expertise of complex semi-conductor business processes, creating strategy, and technical expertise of process and systems that support corporate strategic direction stakeholders; ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, ability to think beyond the current boundaries, question the status quo structure/functions and recommend and effect changes Established record of success building high-performance teams, developing leaders, and driving necessary organizational change Deep understanding of enterprise IT from business, technology, and operational perspectives, knowledgeable of ITIL, Six Sigma, Waterfall, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Experienced at management communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing relationships with internal business customers at executive and senior management levels. Education- BS or equivalent in a related computer science or engineering. Advanced degree (MS or MBA, etc) a plus; relevant Industry certifications a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $225,662.00-$361,046.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
