Pharmacy Technician Pikeville Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy Pikeville, KY As a full time,non-exemptCPS Solutions, LLCPharmacy Technician,you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.* * Schedule:This position will work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. About the Facility:Pikeville Medical Center is the largest hospital in southeastern Kentucky. As of 2018, the hospital consists of 1.6 million square feet spread across 43 facilities, is licensed for 340 beds, and services offered include cardiac, medical, surgical, pediatric, rehabilitative, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care. It is accredited through the Joint commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. (JACHO).CPS Solutions, LLChas partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED- 5+ years experience in a retail pharmacy (preferred)- Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office- Effective communications skills; verbal and writtenHospital Requirements: (may be required)- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity- Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving- HepB3 Series(or declination)- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1^(st)-April 30^(th)- COVID VaccineBenefits: All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
