Required: + Two (2) years of acute care experience in appropriate clinical care area + Registration as a professional nurse in the state of North Carolina multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact + BLS + ACLS- if in critical care areas + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) + Electronic Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate) + S.T.A.B.L.E. + Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: + Experience providing care to a diverse population of patients/families. + Commitment to providing nursing care that is patient and family centered. + Compassionate, non-judgmental, respectful and accountable. + Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area. + Experience in teaching patients and families. + Excellent communication skills. + Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members Preferred: + National certification in appropriate clinical area (i.e. CCRN) + Bachelor of Science in Nursing
