Administrative Support Specialist

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology is seeking a Administrative Support Specialist in the (Krier) lab. Experience with attention to detail, excellent organizational and computer skills are a must. Incumbent must be a team player. Schedule, virtually attend and take summary minutes for 4 - 6 1-hour virtual workgroups/month (sometimes fewer than this) Serve as virtual host for 4 full-day trainings/month (sometimes fewer than this) Virtually attend, record and take summary minutes for 7 full-day stakeholder group meetings (July, August, October, November)

    • Serve as virtual host for the following full-day (8:45 -- 4pm) capacity building trainings. Hosts support the lead trainer by creating break-out rooms, recording attendance and other support tasks.
**HIV Testing in Nonclinical Settings**: July 18 -- 19; Sept 11 -- 12 **Status Neutral Approaches to HIV Testing**: July 31- Aug 1 **HIV Navigation Services**: Sept 25-26; Dec 18-19 **Cultural Humility**: August 21-22; Oct 9 - 10 **Motivational Interviewing**: October 16-17; Dec 4 -- 5  

    • Virtually attend, record and take summary minutes for 8 full-day (approx. 9am-4pm) stakeholder group meetings. (July, August, October, November)

HPG:

July 10th and 11th, 2024 (Wednesday & Thursday)

August 28 -- 29 2024 Town Hall and HPG Meeting (Wednesday & Thursday)

November 20 - 21st, 2024 (Wednesday & Thursday)

SPBPAC:

July 25th, 2024 (Thursday)

    • HPCP helps facilitate stakeholder workgroups. In this role, we schedule, virtually attend and take summary minutes for 4 1-hour virtual workgroups/month (sometimes fewer than this). The current workgroups are: Aging and Disability, HIV and Cancer, CQI, Employment
    • Workgroup dates/times: Groups meet an average of once a month for 1-2 hours. Meeting dates and times are determined on a rolling basis.

Minimum education required is a Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of relevant work experience. Strong interpersonal skills required. Microsoft Office, Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite experience, excellent communication and documentation.
