Candidate must have experience with all types of finishes to include but not limited to paints, epoxies, and stains. Ability to prepare the following surfaces for painting or staining include but not limited to plaster, drywall compound, caulking, and wood fillers. Must have wall-covering experience. Candidate with the following experience preferred: Replacing glass/mirrors, using striping machine to paint athletic fields or a tape machine to stripe an athletic court, operate equipment and machinery used in making signage, have furniture-refinishing experience along with spray booth.

Signs and Engraves. Must be computer proficient. Must have knowledge of Gerber engraving machines to rout and engrave wood, metal, and plastic. Should have experience with vinyl machines, edge printers, and lamination machines. Should be able to provide estimates and maintain and repair all equipment. Responsible for meeting deadlines on critical projects and being able to work collaboratively with architects and other University personnel. Works within a team environment in Paint and Sign shop. Should be a member of the Allied Painters Union or become a member within 60 days.

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

A drivers license is required.
