The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Functional Analyst to join the team in either Plano, TX; Hazelwood, MO; or Seattle, WA .

The Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) Product Systems team is responsible for the delivery and management of critical systems that support Boeing’s entire product lifecycle process.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts complex and interactive finance integrated solutioning workshops

  • Analyzes and designs the “To-Be” design for the Enterprise Financial Structure

  • Develops functional and technical specifications

  • Executes necessary configuration of Systems Applications and Processing (SAP) Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO)

  • Manages the stakeholders and builds client relationships

  • Designs and configures finance solutions for identified gaps in functionality and business process

  • Collaborates with internal business customers and process owners to define business requirements and design high level solution that aligns with both Information Technology (IT) and business roadmaps

  • Ensures the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, secure internally and externally and upgradable to future releases

  • Solves complex problems on SAP & Finance space in partnership with the other IT teams, troubleshoot the critical issues and fix as needed

  • Provides periodic updates to the respective project delivery teams - related to progress of design blockers, Key Design Decisions (KDD’s) and other Architecture issues

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Systems Applications and Processing (SAP), S/4 HANA

  • 3+ years of experience working as an SAP Functional Analyst in Finance

  • 3+ years of experience in S4 HANA Finance and Controlling (FI-CO) capabilities such as the following: financial reporting, P&L reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, costing, labor rating, overhead, actual costing, CO-PA, revenue recognition, CapEx with WBS and result analysis

  • 3+ years of experience with general ledger month-end close

  • Experience with General Ledger, Project Systems, Product Costing, Overhead Costing or Grouping/Pegging/Distribution

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with migrating applications to S/4 Hana platform

  • Experience with one or more of these areas: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Acquire to Retire (A2R), Labor and Overhead Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Material Costing, Close Consolidation and Reporting functions

  • Experience in the aerospace industry

  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology

  • Certified Scrum Master/SAFe Certification or equivalent

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 – $126,500
