We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a highly energetic and skilled Operations Manager located in East Plano, Texas. The primary function of this role is to manage 150+ workers in the auto / service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Hiring, training and orientation of 150+ drivers

• Scheduling and organizing of all employees on a daily/weekly basis

• Problem-solving for scheduling issues

• Managing and coaching of employees

• Terminations and disciplinarian of employees when needed

• Answering FAQ's from employees as well as mentoring

Requirements

• Must be an expert at multi-tasking and problem-solving

• Must have high energy and ambitious personality along with a strong commanding presence

• Must be comfortable with technology, learning technology and teaching the use of technology (apps for scheduling, etc.)

• 2+ years of management experience is ideal for this position (retail industry would be a huge plus!)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with individuals as need

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with general office procedures and practices

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• High school diploma or equivalent required, further education in office administration or related field would be a plus
