JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Ensure the design, architecture, development and implementation of application software within the firm's Commercial Banking business line. Work with established technical specifications to develop and deliver defined functionality. Collaborate with project managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Tech leads, Technical operations and users. Work with and adapt to constantly changing technologies. Work in on-shore and off-shore models. Read and understand business requirements, write functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs, and build, unit, and system test application code. Support the changes and applications post implementation by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases, as prescribed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Microservices; J2EE; Spring; Hibernate; Java; REST; Rest API; Oracle; Junit; Unit Testing; CI/CD; and deploying applications in private or public clouds.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
