Role Summary

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transformation and Continuous Improvement Lead specializing in planning transformation within supply chain, operations, inventory control, and production teams, with experience managing projects, leading training, and adoption of new processes, tools, and advanced planning technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating continuous improvement initiatives, leading planning transformation project management, and overseeing ongoing internal initiatives roadmap in partnership with cross functional teams, especially aligned with our Sales and Operations Planning leads. A critical near-term focus will be serving as a project manager and change champion for an end-to-end planning transformation. Responsibilities

 

Project Management for End-to-End Transformation and Ongoing Improvement Initiatives:

Manage planning transformation projects, including the coordination and oversight of external transformation consultants through development of a PMO office.

Coordinate project plans, establish timelines, and allocate resources to ensure successful project execution especially dependency across Rivian's global roadmap of work related to MDM, ERP, and Analytics workstreams.

Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project challenges, mitigate risks, and achieve project goals.

Planning Transformation Change Champion:

Partner with our Process and Spec. org and our Sales and Operations Planning leads in planning transformation initiatives within supply chain and operations teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams identify problems, define solutions, and to drive change and ensure successful implementation of planning transformation initiatives.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, collaboration enhancement, and efficiency improvements against measurable KPIs.

Energize our teams and support development and deployment of training and adoption.

Solution-Focused Continuous Improvement Quick Wins and Long-Term Investments:

Identify and prioritize internal continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes within the S&OE and S&OP planning horizons in partnership with functional owners.

Lead internal initiatives, develop improvement plans, and drive implementation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, metrics, and timelines for internal initiatives.

Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

Foster a culture of collaboration and stakeholder engagement within the organization.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, inventory, production, and other relevant departments.

Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
